System (CMS) ?
A Content Management
System (CMS) is custom
software with web-based tools that ease the tasks
required to publish web
content to web
sites.
Web content management systems are
used for storing, controlling, versioning, and
publishing documents, image media, audio files,
electronic documents and additional web
content.
A CMS allows non-technical personnel the ability to
easily publish industry-specific documentation such
as product information, editorial content, news articles,
photo galleries, blogs/podcasts, operators' manuals,
technical manuals, sales guides, marketing brochures
and more.

it simple to use. All to often, developers put the
majority of their focus on the technical abilities
of their software. HexnetCMS is as technically sound
a CMS as they come.
But we didn't sacrifice user-friendliness

How does the CMS work?
There are two elements to our HexnetCMS solution:
the content management application (CMA) and the content
delivery application (CDA).
The CMA element
allows the content manager or author, who may not know
Hypertext Markup Language (HTML),
to manage the creation, modification, and removal of
content from a Web site without needing the expertise
of a Webmaster. The CMA element is a set of pages within
a secure directory of your website, that saves all
of your content management work to a database.
The CDA element uses and compiles this database information
into templates and delivers this updated content to
the Web site (web-based publishing).
Why HexnetCMS?
Web-based publishing: Our web-based
publishing feature allows individuals to use a template or
a set of templates, as
well as wizards and other tools to create or modify
Web content. Format management allows documents
including legacy electronic
documents, Word documents and scanned paper documents
to be formatted into HTML or Portable Document Format
(PDF)
for the Web site.
Complete Author-Editor Management: Identification
of all key CMS users and their content management roles.
You can assign roles and responsibilities
to different content categories or types and define
the content workflow tasks. Event
messaging allows content managers to be alerted
to changes in content.
Imaging Automation: Our imaging feature requires you
to simply select an image on your computer's hard drive
and upload it to the CMS. The image will be resized
automatically for display in your web content and a
thumbnail image will be created automatically. All
of this is handled by the CMS. There is no need to
edit all of your image sizes for your website!
Powerful Search Indexing: HexnetCMS
indexes all data within your organization. Individuals
can then search for data using keywords, and the CMS
will retrieve all relevant content.
One-to-one
marketing: One-to-one marketing is the ability
of a Web site to tailor its content and advertising
to a user's specific characteristics using information
provided by the user or gathered by the site (for example,
a particular user's page sequence pattern). For example,
if you visit a search
engine and search for "Canon digital
camera," the advertising banners will display
businesses that sell Canon digital cameras instead
of businesses that sell other products.
Subscriptions & Web
Alerts
Allow Web site visitors to self-register
and self-administrate email notification
preferences. When content is added or updated
an email is automatically generated and sent
to subscribers keeping them coming back to
your site and increasing customer loyalty.
Integrated Document Management
Always find the document you need to read
or edit. Manage all your documents and digital
assets online just like your Web site content. Apply
permissions, workflows, approvals, and maintain a complete
history of changes over time. Auto generate PDFs or
publish to HTML on-the-fly.
Integrated Web Site Analytics
Track the life-cycle of your Web site visitors. View
real-time statistics to see how many people have come
to your site, where they came from, what pages they viewed
and allow your site visitors to rate the usefulness of
content on your site. Run reports by day, week, month,
year, or specify your own custom date range.
And Most Importantly... Ease
of Use: Managing and
editing content becomes as easy as editing a Word
